unfortunately also privately but through the gatehouse you can get a little insight. Located in the middle of the fields. It's worth stopping for a moment.

The Krieseby estate is located on the main road K 77 between Rieseby and Sieseby. The settlement of Krieseby was first mentioned in 1448, and at the same time the Krieseby estate was mentioned as a noble farm. According to other reports, the estate was first mentioned in the 12th century.

The estate consists of the gatehouse from 1749. The horse stable was built two years earlier, in 1747. The entire farm complex, including the park, was built or laid out at about the same time, in the middle of the 18th century. Inside the complex there is a chestnut avenue that leads to the manor house. As with almost every estate, there were fires on this estate too. For example, in 1912, when the cowshed burned down.

Incidentally, there is an oak tree on the property that is over 800 years old.

The Breide knights are said to be the first owners. Over time, the Krieseby estate was owned by the Wohnsfleth, Otte, von Ahlefeld and Kühl families, among others. Jürgen Kühl has been in charge of the Krieseby estate since 1992. This means that the Krieseby estate is now in the fifth generation of the Kühl family. Hinrich Kühl first acquired the estate in 1847, and it has been owned by the Kühl family ever since.

In any case, please note that the estate is privately owned and entering the property or even viewing it - if at all - is only possible after agreement.
