This pleasure palace is a beautifully preserved building. As a hiker, it is just not entirely clear whether the area is private or not ?!

The castle-like manor house in the middle of the village, also known as the Edelhof, was the ancestral home of the Eckersten (Exten) family in the Middle Ages. A notable feature of this large farm complex is the manor house, built in 1727 in the late Baroque Regency style, whose mansard roof is crowned by a lantern. It is the most magnificent noble building of this era in the Schaumburg region. The outdoor area can be accessed up to the roundabout.
