    The simple fieldstone church of Schmargendorf is the smallest village church in the Berlin area. The interior is only 66 square meters. In the 19th century, the gable of the church was decorated with a half-timbered tower. Today, unfortunately, it is only covered with wooden boards.

      The Schmargendorf village church is the church of the Alt-Schmargendorf Protestant community. It is located in the Berlin district of Schmargendorf in the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district on the corner of Breite Straße and Kirchstraße. The church dates from the end of the 13th century and was the only church in Schmargendorf until 1929.
