The ascent to the tower is tough. A forest path leads up from the southwest and a paved road (the so-called NATO road) from the southeast, which then leads even further to the former missile control center. The wind power station is there today.

Worth seeing ascent. According to the compi, it was a torturous climb at 3-4°, but at 30° C there was hardly any shade and endless asphalt uphill. But then you arrive at the turret and the view over the super green OWL + Lower Saxony is amazing. Make!

At the foot of the tower there is a restaurant where you can pay by card. There is also free WiFi access. You can get the password from the restaurant staff.
