This was foreseen for the underground barrier systems on roads during the Cold War - in case Russia attacks.
The entrances to the bunkers consisted of 3-4 doors arranged one behind the other. The first was a lattice door with thumb-thick bars, the second an armored door about 15 cm thick with a special lock and the third a thick sheet steel door (gas pressure door). If the quantity of explosives to be stored exceeded 5t, another armored door was added inside.
