Cycling
Løgumkloster developed into a popular market place. The place made a name for itself beyond the borders with the production of elaborate lace and lavish clothing for the fine and rich society.
With the war of 1864 and the victory of the Prussians over Denmark, Løgumkloster came to the then German district of Tondern. The community retained its importance as a market place, but industry hardly settled.
