About 1 km from the village of Burgwalde is the Boniface Chapel on a hill in the middle of a group of trees. Next to the chapel, built of red sandstone, there is a small bell tower. On this square, which is also called Brink, behind the chapel is the baptismal font of Saint Boniface. It is a huge boulder made of sandstone with a basin-like depression in the middle.
The chapel was built in 1881.
