Bike Touring Highlight
The location of the small forest campground is a dream: in the Jasmund National Park on Rügen. The National Park is home to the UNESCO World Heritage "Old Beech Forests of Germany", which can be reached in a short time by foot or by bike. The Waldcampingplatz is located about 3 km from the Königsstuhl, Rügen's most famous feature, and is surrounded by magnificent beech trees, some of them over one hundred years old. The views from the chalk cliffs, the sunsets and the view to Cape Arkona are incomparable. You have the choice between shady, partially shaded or sunny meadow places.
The campsite is from 12.04. - 03.11. open. Further information and a contact form can be found at ruegen-naturcamping.de
The campsite lies with its rear area in very beautiful beech forest. There you are really very quiet and idyllic. Otherwise, however, it is a very run down, oller place. Neither the service nor the equipment are recommended. Compared to beautiful, modern campgrounds a bastard.
