We did the tour in early spring with friends and a 12 year old. Steep ascent from the Werra valley, magnificent views. Confusing course of the former GDR border - today Thuringia-Hesse. It would be good to have a card with you. Was also interesting for the youngster. Really good! A magnificent landscape.
