The path can be made as a short detour in the morning / evening, starting from the Bremer Hütte. So we did it and parked the 40l backpack there. Thus a feasible via ferrata B with a nice reward (lake & waterfall).
If you are lucky you will meet marmots and ibexes (like us in the morning).

If you don't have a head for heights or are a bit fit, or have a backpack that's too big, you should consider coming from the Innsbrucker Hut on the way to the Bremer Hut at the junction: via ferrata (A) over Lauterer See, yes, or rather turn directly to the left to the Bremer Hut.
