The high-rise office building at the eastern end of Frankfurt's former Westhafen, the Westhafen Tower, also known by Frankfurters as the "Geripptes" (apple cider glass) because of its outer shell made of triangular glass panes, is a 112.3 meter high building. It was designed by the architects Schneider + Schumacher and completed in 2004.

The high-rise is part of a new city district in the area of the former Westhafen. The Westhafen Tower has already been called "the Gerippte" or "Äppelwoi-Turm" by the people of Frankfurt because the glass facade resembles an apple wine glass. Rather, the 3,500 glass triangles are intended to create references to the element of water through different light reflections. In contrast, the interior of the Westhafen Tower consists of square elements stacked on top of each other, so that the interior spaces are rectangular. The remaining areas to the outer facade are conservatories, which are used for relaxation and a better indoor climate. Further special features are the full air conditioning, whereby all windows can be opened, and the use of the water from the Main to cool the building.
