On a hill rises the Rekener tower windmill visible from afar. It is one of the most beautiful and oldest of its kind in Westphalia. On a thick stump of rubble the cap rests with the mighty wings, which have at least a span of 22 meters. They could be turned with the help of the "Krühstertes" (rotary tail) in the right wind direction. After a thorough renovation, the Heimatverein Reken set up a museum in the mill in 1972.
