During the winter and spring months, running events of the RC Vorwärts Speyer take place here every few weeks. The route leads in the evening on the illuminated runway. The lap length is about 3.3 km. The runners have the choice between 1, 2 or 3 rounds. With a view of the nocturnal Speyer including cathedral and technical museum.
