The 21 meter high Heimatturm is the product of the love of some friends of the homeland from the area around Leipzig, Chemnitz and Colditz, who realized the construction of the tower in 1901 with donations from well-heeled people. From the Töpelsberg rock, it overlooks the city of Colditz with a great view.
