The sculpture by Norwegian artist Marit Benthe Norheim dates from 2001. It depicts a double-sided figurehead and is made of light-colored concrete. The lucky charms of over 880 school and kindergarten children from Sæby were cast into the sculpture. Henrik Johann Ibsen wrote his novel "The Lady from the Sea" in 1887 after his stay in Sæby.
