The parish complex of Ladino is composed of the church dedicated to San Martino di Tours (316 - 397 AD), the rectory, the cemetery, the settler's house and some service buildings built more recently. The church and rectory stand on the site of the ancient castle, while the surface occupied by the cemetery and other buildings was probably unbuilt and used as a maneuver area for the defense of the fortress, so much so that the building of worship was built in 1270 on ruins and with the materials of the fortress destroyed by the Faenza people in 1218. The violent earthquake that affected Romagna on 30 October 1870, with its epicenter in Meldola, also had consequences in Ladino where the church and the farmhouse of the Colombarina farm collapsed. The following year reconstruction work began with recycled materials and in 1872 the building was reopened for worship.
