Weiß-Zündorf Ferry

From my childhood with the "Augsburger Puppenkiste" (that "world on a thread, the beautiful bill, we were invited to be there..."), the song that comes to mind when I hear the word ferry:
"Yes, on the big river
there is no bus
there is no tram running
there is no train
there's only one boat going."

The heavy rain catastrophe, which caused streams and rivers to rise in parts of the Rhineland with immeasurably devastating consequences and left a trail of devastation in its wake, is having a much more moderate impact here on the "Father Rhine" near Cologne. But the current flood has at least made ferry operations between the two banks of the river impossible.

The ferry operates between Weiss and Groov.
