Very nicely designed facility. It is one of the top sights in Donaueschingen. Does the Danube rise here? In any case, the source was captured here. The water then continues underground. This water flows into the Brigach at the Danube Temple. The confluence of the Breg and the Brigach is called the Danube confluence. From here one speaks of the Danube!

Nice place to visit......although it is disputed that it's not the real source of the Danube, it's worth a visit. The city is pretty too- small and cosy

Beautifully designed "fountain system" between the Prince's Palace and the Catholic parish church of St. Johann. The source can be reached both by stairs and an elevator.
