Hiking

Very nicely maintained facility. It is one of the top sights in Donaueschingen. Does the Danube originate here? In any case, the spring was captured here. The water then continues underground. At the Donautempel, this water flows into the Brigach. The confluence of the Breg into the Brigach is called the Danube confluence. From here, it is then referred to as the Danube.

Nice place to visit......although it is disputed that it's not the real source of the Danube, it's worth a visit. The city is pretty too- small and cosy

Beautifully designed "fountain system" between the Prince's Palace and the Catholic parish church of St. Johann. The source can be reached both by stairs and an elevator.
