Tips
Michelbach is the northernmost Franconian wine town and is known for its excellent vineyards. A magical place for Franconian wine, the so-called “Terroir-f”, has arisen in the centuries-old growing area of the “Apostelgarten”, a listed vineyard. The information and vantage point offers a breathtaking view over the vineyards in the Kahlgrund, on the Hahnenkamm and over the Main Plain as far as Frankfurt and the Taunus and Odenwald low mountain ranges bordering on the Spessart. The Michelbacher vineyards are called Steinberg, Apostelgarten and Aloisengarten.
