The Saltoluokta refuge is, like that of Abisko, one of the largest built on the Kungsleden.
You will find all the amenities there: accommodation, food, groceries, equipment rental, and even WiFi.
Easily accessible by boat, the refuge makes an ideal base camp for exploring the region. Its picturesque setting, nestled between Lake Langas and its nearby mountains, will delight more than one.

The STF Saltaluokta Fjällstation is a nice place to stay and starting point for 4 more day trips: Lulep Gierkav (1139 m, 4-6 h), Tal Ahusjgarssa (Vermenschlicht, 1-3 h), Buollamtjahkka (704 m, 4-6 h), Stora Sjöfallet waterfall (with boat)
