The Grürmannshöhle is a cave on Oestricher Burgberg in the district Oestrich von Iserlohn. Its entrance lies in the formation of Father and Nun.It is about five meters long today, after it was cut through by a tunnel during lime removal and closed with a concrete wall.Among the digging archaeologists was Johann Carl Fuhlrott. During excavations numerous bones of animals of the ice age were found.Legend has it that the spirit of a landmark quarry lives in the cave.de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gr%C3%BCrmannsh%C3%B6hle

It is simply impressive when you stand in front of the approximately 50 m high and vertical rock group "Father and Nun." It is not too long to think which of the two is the nun
and who the Patter Is, the Grürmannshöhle makes possible.
