Very nice view once you have climbed up there. The climb is 3km long with a 10% average gradient and at the end it's up to 16%. So prepare for 20-25 minutes of relatively hard climbing.

One of the best spots for sunsets. After a rather tough climb, the impressive panoramic view over the Murg Valley, the Rhine Plain, and the Vosges Mountains (which can also be viewed via webcam) is a reward.

However, the summit is regularly very busy on weekends. Since cars and motorcycles can drive up to the summit, the approach and descent on the narrow, winding road can be quite stressful when there's a lot of traffic, so it's better to come during the week. The inn is closed then, however – it's only open Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
