Built in 1804, the "Old Abbey" was the first house in Steinfeld that was built outside the monastery wall. Initially part of a farm, it quickly became an inn. And it has remained so to this day. From here you have a beautiful view of the towers of the basilica, which shine in the setting sun in the evening.
