This is one of the three heathlands near Amelinghausen. With the Heidschnuckenstall something special, especially at lamb time. The real pasture area is Bergen. It may well be that you do not see them from May to fall. Very important, this herd has herding dogs. Please do it with respect and caution.

There is a covered rest area at the Heidschnuckenstall. If there wasn't a green sign nearby with the inscription "Prehistoric burial mound", it would not be recognizable. Unfortunately, nothing more can be learned about it. Only a pile of stones with boulders gives an indirect hint.
Otherwise, this is also a nice resting place with a view over the Kronsbergheide.

Anyone visiting Kronsbergheide should first know that the heather queen of Amelinghausen has been officially elected here since 1950 and that it is therefore a historical place for the Amelinghausen community.lueneburger-heide.de/natur/sehenswuerdigkeit/4984/kronsbergheide-amelinghausen.html
