Tips

The path along the shore of the Achensee is a real highlight, sometimes straight ahead and then again a bit steeper and more demanding on a narrow path, which is peppered with steps. Varied and beautiful.

The path is well secured and easy to walk, but you should have sturdy shoes.
The tour can go from Pertisau to Scholastika or you start from the Gaisalm by boat is not a problem.
Also interesting for photographers, because the Steig offers many cool locations

You should have sturdy shoes. Otherwise, the short-lived hike can be made wonderful - for everyone.

By shipping, the hike can be classified as everyone has their mood.
The way from Achenkirch to Gaisalm requires sturdy shoes and a good kick. A great tour in good weather.

This is a really recommended path. We have gone there several times now and it is always impressive.

Weather-related and equipment-related surefootedness is required here

This route is part of the Achensee run, very demanding, but beautiful.

The route from Pertisau to Achenkirch offers a lot of variety. Sometimes you have to be careful and sure-footed.

The Gaisalm lies in a sunny spot on the banks of the Achensee
own ship landing stage. Good kitchen. Is a highlight of an Achensee bank hike. (Well visited!)

The Gaisalmensteig Seeweg is beautiful, but in places you should absolutely have a head for heights

The beautiful hike on the west bank of the Achensee leads from Pertisau to the Gaisalm and on to the northern bank of the lake to Achenkirch. Along the route there are always lonely bays - nothing stands in the way of cooling off in the lake on warm summer days. Some sections of the route are a small but manageable challenge for the inexperienced hiker. A really nice tour

Probably the most beautiful part of the Pertisau route via the Geißalm to Achenkirch. With their great views of the lake you will be rewarded almost at every corner, but if you look next to you on the way up you will see impressive rocks that are above you. As well as some beautiful bays that invite you to swim.

The Geißalmsteig is not to be underestimated. It goes a long way up and stairs keep coming down and up. However, the view over the lake is wonderfully beautiful. One of my favorite paths in the Achensee area.

The wonderful view from the climb to the Geißalm is wonderful. The climb is generally an absolute highlight.

The climb is an absolute highlight with wonderful views over the lake again and again. However, sturdy shoes should be worn. In general, the climb is manageable for everyone, but you shouldn't underestimate the many steps.

An absolute highlight and you should definitely walk it when you are at the Achensee. The many little things make it a small but very nice adventure. Many small steps up and downhill with waterfalls and roots make it so varied. The beautiful views are outstanding.

The narrow, partly rocky path now leads up and down the steep slope, requires some surefootedness and is secured in a few slightly exposed places. The inspection is nowhere really problematic, even with children who are able to walk.

Coming from the ascent with the many steps from the Geißalm towards Achenkirch, the view from above towards the Alm is an absolute treat. 😎
