Truth or fairy tale?
In the Koberger Forest, not far from the riding stables, there is a large oak tree that was struck by lightning a long time ago. The last wolf in the area is said to have been shot on this old tree. This is how the riding stables got its name.
That the resident riding club is now called Königseiche is another long story.
