The over 100-year-old bridge was renovated in the period from November 2013 to May 2015. The bridge was very old and had serious defects, for example in the form of strong cracks. The building is located on a busy recreational trail, which is also part of the nature trail between Langensteinbach outskirts and the grill Ittersbach industry. On a reinforced concrete base above a pipe passage made of steel corrugated sandstones were installed in the stem and finally a new, high railing attached. Special attention is drawn to the built-in bat house under the bridge.

Although it looks almost like this, the old railway line from Langensteinbach to Ittersbach did not cross this bridge. The route continues to the road in the forest.
