The Astjoch (also Burgstall) is a gentle mountain in the northern Dolomites, which rises east of the Rodenecker Alm and the Lüsener Alm. The small summit is adorned by a huge wooden cross. Popular are the climbs from the Pustertal from the hamlet Ellen, over the Rodenecker Alm and the Lüsner Alm. Already during the ascent you have a magnificent view of the Dolomites and the Pfunderer mountains. On the spacious summit you are not only surprised by a surprisingly far-reaching panoramic view, but also often by strong winds. If you have enough time, you should not leave the Rastner hut with outstanding South Tyrolean cuisine on the circular route you have taken. Link to the hike: komoot.de/tour/8637919
