Here you bypass a section of the state road 244, which is extremely unpleasant to drive on due to the heavy traffic (lots of trucks) and the numerous long tunnels. There is practically no car traffic at the top, and wonderful views of the valley. The descent to Zwischenwasser or St. Vigil is quite narrow, steep and bumpy.
From Zwischenwasser to Corvara, the SS 244 is unfortunately the only alternative, apart from small towns.translated by•September 5, 2024
