Wallberg Panorama Restaurant

A magnificent sun terrace with stunning south-facing views. Thanks to the cable car, there's a wide selection to choose from, but it's also quite busy. Despite its enormous size (200 seats inside, 360 on the terrace), it can get quite crowded. Opening hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (summer) and until 4:30 p.m. in winter.

The Wallber Panorama Restaurant scores highly for the following:
- sensational view
- good, modern menu, including vegetarian and vegan options
- delicious foodUnfortunately, I didn't like the following:
- huge restaurant
- extremely loud
- in addition to the enormous noise level, there was live Bavarian music
- some of the staff were completely overwhelmed and probably therefore unfriendlyIf it had been up to me, I wouldn't have stayed there at all. The hustle and bustle there is exactly the opposite of what I'm looking for when hiking in the mountains.
