      Museum in the Wienertor Hainburg
      Local history collection
Old weapons and a rich collection of shooting targets from the shooting range that used to be in front of the gate and cannons from the 30 Years' War are shown in 15 showcases. Weapons and other finds from the year 1683, which was so tragic for Hainburg, are also on display. In 1683 Hainburg was attacked by the Ottomans and almost all of the city's residents were murdered.
Exhibits from the old Hainburg needle factory are reminiscent of the beginning of industrialization in the 19th century.
The potter's guild flag from 1749 in the middle of the room has been lovingly restored in recent years. Guild items such as chests, gingerbread models and memories of the old ship milling tradition are also on display.

In addition to the history of the building, the annually changing exhibitions in the former prison in the attic of the Wienertor are also a reason to visit Hainburg.
