Wissembourg (Weißenburg) is a city in Alsace, right on the border with Rhineland-Palatinate. Its origin goes back to a Benedictine monastery around 660. The city has changed citizenship several times in its history.
We grazed the city on our tour and loved it. Unfortunately the stay was short. We would have liked to have used the Alsatian hospitality longer.translated by

We came on a bike tour from Bad Bergzabern to Rastatt, also through Wissembourg and were fascinated by this city and its sights, houses and squares. We didn't have enough time to look at everything in peace, but we want to catch up on that as soon as we're in this corner again.
