Tips
Very interesting place, the Austro-Hungarian war cemetery, known as the Cemetery of the Springs, already existed during the First World War. There are the remains of 1259 soldiers all belonging to the Austro-Hungarian Empire: Croats, Slovenians, Italians, Hungarians. In the cemetery mainly soldiers of non-Germanic mother tongue rest, the names and surnames testify to it. It is very well kept and the place that exudes peace and serenity, makes us reflect on the brutality of wars.
