Lake Landro is located at the end of the Val di Landro, in Alto Adige, about twenty kilometers from Cortina d'Ampezzo. From the cycle path that runs along the shore of the lake you can admire the steep rock faces of the Dolomites.

The Dürrensee is wonderful for bathing in summer, as it has no natural outlet and is therefore warmer than lakes at a similar altitude. There is a pebbly beach on the northern shore. The turquoise-blue waters can easily be circumnavigated on foot. Surrounded in the east by the Sesto Dolomites and in the west by the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park, the panorama is also unique. If you like it more challenging, you can start a mountain tour to the surrounding peaks here or let off steam in the climbing garden.
