A fabulous place to stop on your ride, particularly if you're in need of food and drink.

There's also some history here. There used to be a railway station at Station Square, but it closed in 1965. Plans were in place to have the whole square developed so that the town would rival Blackpool, but this never happened. The empty square is made picturesque by the proximity of the sea and the rather unusual tree.

A welcome break after the climb from Scarbough.
I though at times i was on the flat but no it was gradual incline ALL the way
Hot sandwiches and cakes plus drinks hot and cold. Sit outside in the sun, very nice indeed
