Hiking
Start early enough for bus users. Last bus to Oberwald already at 4 p.m. The times given for the tour are pure walking times for brisk hikes. Wind protection important near glaciers. The wind is of course well cooled.
Ascent from the lowest point is largely over an overgrown slope. Steep but easy to walk. Tour of the underground very varied. Stone steps, gravel, slabs of rock, paths, gravel ridge and green slope.
