The Euromast was built on the occasion of the Floriade in 1960. The original lookout tower was 101 meters high. In 1970, the so-called "Space Tower" was placed on the Euromast, so that the total height is now 185 meters. At the Space Tower, an all-glazed gondola screws upwards, the "Euroscoop". In clear weather, the visibility is up to 30 kilometers.

The Euromast is open every day. From 9:30 am from April to September, from 10:00 am from October to March. On the platforms in 100 meters height you can until 22:00 clock, on the Euroscoop until 21:45 clock.

Admission costs € 9.50 for adults, € 8.50 for pensioners over 65 years and € 6.10 for children under 11 years.

The tower was built in the 60s on the occasion of the garden exhibition Floriade. At that time it was only 101 m high, only in the 70s was the "Space Tower" set with another 84 m on top.
At a height of 96 m you will find the large visitor platform, from where you have a beautiful view of the city and the port of Rotterdam. On a clear day you can even see the North Sea coast, which is at least about 30 km away.
If you want to go even higher, you have to climb a few steps and sit in the glazed cabin of the Euroscoop. It goes all the way up and the rotating cab provides a spectacular all-round view.

The Euromast serves as a viewing platform and restaurant for tourists, which can be reached by fast lifts. Another mast was added later, the so-called Space Tower. With the Euroscoop you screw yourself up to 185 meters.
