In 1992, in its 24th issue, Der Spiegel asked whether “the goddess of love would end up with the Swabians”. The thought is obvious when five cylindrical marble blocks are placed in the middle of the digester under the prosaic name "Porto di Venere" - Venus port. The Italian artist Luciano Fabro anchored her here in the city garden of Aalen. The blocks are processed in such a way that only a crescent moon remains from their upper circular surface. Due to the rotation of the moons against each other, when viewing from the slightly elevated shore, the impression can arise that a small moving lunar fleet is entering the Venus harbor.
