This bizarrely shaped rock was formed by the calcareous water of the small spring stream that flows through here. The "Growing Rock", also known as the "Johannisfelsen", is around 50 meters long and three meters high and is one of the most important geotopes in Germany. You can get here via a short walking path - the detour is worth it. You can look at the rock at any time for free.
