The "Wild Men Erbstollen" had been designed from the beginning as a water solution tunnel. In addition to water drainage, it also brought operational improvements: it reduced transport and travel costs, streamlined the promotion of main jobsites, and enabled the necessary concentration of most of the central facilities, such as the treatment, processing and removal of the ores in Müsen. The "Wild Men Erbstollen" today is the starting point of the mine training course of the Altenberg and Stahlbergvereins.
