The Salmorth near Kleve

Unfortunately the ferry no longer exists, so you have to go back all the way or go around in a circle.

Nice nature reserve in the north of the district Kleve at Schenkenschanz.

Beautiful lonely. But if you have to cross the Altrhein by ferry on the further way, e.g. to Millingen between Schenkenschanz and Düffelwart, it is important to know the operating times. On the website it says:
The small boat is (since 2020) seasonally in use from Good Friday to the end of October. Pedestrians and cyclists can use it for free.
The connection is available on weekends, public holidays and bridging days.
Between 10.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. people from the local history association will be on site and, if required and on demand, will take pedestrians and cyclists across the Altrhein.
