There are more ways to climb the Eltenberg, but this one on the east side is by far my favorite (after the gravel climb). It's a narrow hollow way that's more steep than the climb on the eastern side, in between forest. When reaching the end of the steep part, you can take the less steep exit to the left over the Hoynckallee to the village at the top, or take one of the gravel roads into the forest of the Eltenberg.

Beautiful hollow road, near the built-up area, but still just outside in a beautiful natural environment. The climb is easy to do, at least not very tough with the racing bike (strenuous for regular bicycles), but worth it because of the total experience.
