The former ore mine "Breinigerberg" has become an impressive nature reserve Schlangenberg.The "Schlangenberg" is a natural elevation, whose name derives from the Schlingnatter.At the "summit" at the monument to the fallen of both world wars you have a good all-round view. Here you can meet a herd of sheep and goats ... Unique in the world: only here grows the yellow galmei flower! Flowering time about mid-May to August, so I have to come back again ...
