The Rjukanfossen has lost its power since the water is diverted in pipelines to the Vemork power station. The waterfall can only be experienced on the last weekend in July on the occasion of the "Marispelet".

Not far from the parking lot you can see the much-described view of the Rjukanfossen. Unfortunately only very rarely with normal water supply.
