Built around 350 years ago and named after the then Swedish queen Christine (1626 - 1689), the house combines a historical flair with a lively program.Housed in the oldest non-church building in Zeven, you will find today the Municipal Gallery with changing art exhibitions. In the meantime, it has developed into a renowned forum for art and artists from the Elbe-Weser area. In the historic part of the house, two rooms are dedicated to the well-known Nartumer writer Walter Kempowski, who died in 2007.Behind the house, the "Sculpture Garden" offers opportunity for recreation.
