The complex of the hometown Hesedorf / Gyhum is a collection of historic half-timbered buildings and is located in a large park-like area in the middle of the village.

There is a sheepfold with a special, typical for the village form, a listed back house and an old cross passage barn. Most recently, a typical firewood and peat shed from around 1900 was built. All buildings have different rare roofing.

On the site is also one of the largest and bestgepflegte herbal spirals of the district of Rotenburg (Wümme).
