Tips
The Schiedersee is officially called Emmer-Stausee and is a reservoir on the Emmer near the town of Schieder.
The lake was dug in the late 1970s and has long been a fantastic recreational area.
Today the lake is home to many water sports clubs and is visited by many day guests in the summer months. A private motor ship called 'SchiederSee' sails on the lake.
The length of the lake is around 3 km and it is around 350 m wide.translated by
