Medieval village with a circular shape reminiscent of a barrel (hence the name Doglio from the Latin "Dolium"). The perimeter walls act as external walls of the current houses. It was born as a castle disputed between the Guelph Orvieto and the Ghibelline Todi. The village is very lively. It is accessed from a path lined with holm oak trees with benches and tables where the local population and resident tourists gather. It has two bars, one of which has historical roots (1700) and the current owner, Pio, keeps evidence of the village and his family.
