The hiking path in this area is justifiably not signposted as a cycle path because it is a hiking path or a beautiful MTB route, but not a cycle path. Nevertheless, you can of course "bump" lengthways with a "normal" bike. I also like to ride my trekking bike like this, but it's not for everyone. After you have overcome a small staircase, which you can also go down on the edge, you come to this great lonely swimming area with a view of the White Stone.
