    Bag End was a smial (Hobbit-hole) situated at the end of Bagshot Row in Hobbiton. It was the home of Bilbo Baggins, afterwards of Frodo Baggins, and later of Samwise Gamgee and his wife Rosie Cotton.

      Hobbiton Movie Set - certainly a must for every fan of "The Lord of the Rings". The farm and Hobbiton can only be explored as part of a guided tour (and that's a good thing). The tickets, or the tour tickets can be booked directly at the entrance to the farm or even in the Infocenter in Matamata. On the spot you can take a bus to the entrance of Hobbiton and start the tour. At the end you will be picked up after a visit to the Green Dragon (including a free drink). The tour is absolutely worth seeing, beats with NZ $ 84 per adult but properly booked. Have fun.
